Born into a family of potters, Charlotte, along with her sister
Dollie, went to Fenton Art School where they learnt many skills in
the art of pottery. Charlotte then worked at Wardle and Co as
a tube-liner, which involves squeezing clay out through a bag to
give the pottery a raised outline |
